--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hello,
I am not a frequently visitor of this board however, I have on numerous occassions read thru posts with my father, Ron Wee (poster known as Rons Toys). I know that he has found many friends and a sense of peace by connecting with the people he has met thru this board, sharing a "common bond" and an unspoken friendship.
I am writing this message in tears as my father passed away unexpectedly yesterday, August 6. He was one of the good guys, the kind of man this world needs more of. I know that he took great comfort in being able to communicate freely with people on his views and such and that he treasured these boards. I feel that I need to let his "friends" know that he has passed and I want to thank you from all of us, his family, for being there for him to sound off on and for comforting him. Thank you. There was more I wanted to say but I am unable to see thru my grief at this time....

Proud Family of one of the world's greatest men, my father - Ronald Wee.

To the family of Ron Wee:
I'm sure that I speak for everyone on this board when I say that we'll miss Ron. Not only for his great humor but also because it's obvious that he was a great man.
Ron will be thought of in our prayers, as will those members of his family.

To the Family of Ron Wee--

My thoughts and prayers go out to you during your time of grief.
Your Dad will be sorely missed around here. Words are inadequate
at this time, but I'd like to offer a poem that helps me through
these difficult times.

Sharon

----------------------------------------------------

The Legacy

When I die, give what is left of me to children.
If you need to cry,
Cry for your brothers walking beside you.
Put your arms around anyone
And give them what you need to give me.
I want to leave you with something....
Something better than words or sounds.
Look for me in the people I have known and loved.
And, if you cannot live without me,
Then let me live on in your eyes,
Your mind, and your acts of kindness.
You can love me most by
Letting hands touch hands
And letting go of children that need to be free.
Love does not die...people do.
So when all that is left of me is love...

Give me away....

So often it seems, we must extend ourselves into an arena where we are not comfortable or even secure in what we attempt to say to someone. Such are those times when we try to tell someone who we don't even know, how very saddened we are with their loved ones passing. Recently we did it with Hope---yesterday with Barry, and now today with Ron Wee. I use as an example the letter President Lincoln wrote to a grieving Mother who had lost her five sons on the field of battle in the Civil War. In 1864, when the war was still raging, he penned a note to her and in the contents of the letter there are these words: "I feel how weak and fruitless must be any word of mine which should attempt to beguile you from the grief of a loss so overwhelming". I say to you to lean on your faith and your loving memories of Ron. I ask these things in a prayer for you and yours. Wilborn

My deepest sympathies to Ron's family. We will all miss him here. I always enjoyed the links he would hook us up to. He found some great sites that most of us would have never visited if it hadn't been for Ron steering us in their direction.

God Bless and Smooth Sailing Ron......

My deepest sympathy for the family. This sorrow is, I know, hard to bear. I have been told in cases of grief that God gives strength in proportion the magnitude of love.
Know then that you will be strong in this time of sorrow.

I am so very sorry to hear of your loss and send you and your family my deepest sympathy.

As the days pass, may your sorrow turn to joy as you stop and think of your beloved loved one, that you hold so dear in that very special place, your heart. May you remember all the good times that you had and hold each one of them as if they are worth more then a piece of gold. They are priceless!

With Sympathy - Hope

Dear Family,
I"m so sorry for your loss of Dad. My thoughts are to you and your family and friends upon his passing. Dad was a Good man!...conscientious ans always willing to root out and call to our attention to the scalywags and the robbers of Liberty and What's Right in society today.

Along with the "lifting the lid" on the above scoundrels...it wasn't very long before Dad would lift us up with laughter. A very funny man...a good ole Joe and as down to earth as you can get.

Again...Family...we are sad. The Chief posted some good words by President Lincoln for your family...as well as everyone's words of comfort for you Family. All here share thru this cyber world your shocking news of Dad. He will be greatly missed.

God bless ya's and give ya comfort Family.

I only hope this is worthy. I did not know Ron for long, but he was a brother.

FOR RON WEE aka Ron’s Toys

Veterans stand, heads bowed in prayer
As taps sounds across the land
More than one tear will fall
As we remember this gallant man

Some knew him well, for many years
While others just had met
They shared a brotherhood of war
Like them, he was a Vet

He served his country honorably
He answered his nations call
He did his duty to God and country
He had reason to stand tall

His memory will not be forgotten by
This group of fighting men
Another Warrior has slipped his earthly chains
And joined his brethren

God speed, Ron
