Default norinco sks chinese preban

I have just aquired a norinco sks with folding stock, scope, wood stock, banana clip,etc. Is it legal to have a folding stock and what is the approx. value, its in very good condition.

Being, at the moment, that the ban is no longer active, it would most likely fetch no more then $300-350. The legality depends on the state, NY and CA would probably ban it, regardless of the stock.
