Default Buck Mark Stainless Camper

Hi all, I just picked up one of the above today. It's my 1st pistol. It doesn't look like it's been fired at all. Anyone own or had fired this model. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

here's a link for more info;

I'm not a big fan of the day glow sights. I prefer the traditional iron sights if I am not using a red dot, or scope. BUT, you will love the buckmark. It is a great pistol. Needs a few hundred rounds to generally get broken in. May give you a little static for a while. But most new pistols do. And you may find early on it likes one brand of .22 ammo over another. I found with mine it was Federal AutoMatch. And I haven't seen any of it in 5 months or longer. But, maybe it just feels sorry for me because it will gobble up most everything now. Visit Rimfirecentral.com on the Browning page. Chim has some excellent threads on there on the care and feeding of the buckmark. There are some good info there as well as here and some of the other forums. Have fun! DF

Thanks for the reply. Can the front "Day Glow" sight be changed? My ammo of choice is CCI Minimags, hopefully this gun will like them.

I also have a new browning stainless camper. Put 500 rounds through with no problem. Field stripped it to clean. Could not get the slide spring and rod out. Put it back together and now it will not cock. Help!

Congrats on the Buck Mark. It is a very nice pistol. My old tired eys really like the fibre optic sights. It makes it so much easier and quicker to get on target.
You are going to love it.

No problem, the first two videos are pretty good. The third isn't as good overall, but it did show some critical steps pretty well.

Semper Fi,
