Member Posts: 1 (3/9/03 5:15:28 pm) Reply Mounting Red Dot sight to Ruger MKII -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- After a 10 year layoff from shooting I dug out my Ruger MKII .22 target model. I would like to add a Red Dot Scope to it. My pistol is blued finish with 6 7/8" bull barrel and adjustable sights.....Can I mount a scope without gunsmithing work being done? If so can someone tell me what type base do I need to buy and where can I buy it.......Any help appreciated. Thanks, Wally RON KONTOWSKY Member Posts: 2 (3/10/03 7:11:40 am) Reply Re: Mounting Red Dot sight to Ruger MKII -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- B-Square and burris offer a no drill & tap base, you can check the BROWNELL`S websight. Don't need to take existing sights off - only thing removed is the grip panel. www.midsouthshooters.com and www.natchezss.com carry them. "Keep Off The Ridgeline"
