LeFever shotgun with Damascus double barrel

My father owns a 12 gauge shotgun that once belonged to a wealthy ancestor of ours. It is LeFever with the markings "Patented 1872" and below that the numbers "78.80.85.86.87" and another number, possibly the serial number? of 20953 in a different location. It has engraving of a spaniel hunting dog on each side of the stock and a dog with a duck in its mouth under the trigger. It was made for our ancestor and has his name "J. P. Lucas" engraved on a gold piece on the underside of the butt along with Balto Md, presumably standing for Baltimore Maryland. It also has gold triggers and firing pins. The firing pins have our ancestors initials engraved on them, one side a J and the other side an L. I'm just curious as to how much this may be worth. Thanks!
