Does anyone know if you ahve to use the hardner from Duracoat or can you use an automotive hardner? The reason I ask is I recieved my Duracoat finish today and somehow the hardner bottle leaked and there is no hardner left. Thanks

Call the shipper and explain what happened. I'm sure they will replace the hardner.

I have contacted Duracoat by e-mail, they do not list a phone number and the last time I contacted them it took two days for them to get back to me. I was wanting to try and finish this gun today.

I would think Duracote had it's hardner matched chemically. If the replacement hardner is not, You may have to refinish.

Well they got back to me faster than before. They are replacing the hardner and it does have to be their hardner. Automotive hardner will not allow the duracoat to adhear. Thanks.
