I just inherited the savage 67 and i want to take it apart properly and clean it up. One problem is my little brother in his infinite wisdom at the age of five tried taking it apart and after one screw realized his mistake. So now, the firing pin, or what i think is the firing pin is floating around in there, luckily, i still have the screw. I've seen that a couple people have posted the parts diagram of the gun but with my little knowledge i need more help than that. Anybody have a list of instructions on disassembling this puppy, or atleast enough to get that firing pin back in place?
Thanks a lot.

Hi applejack....welcome to TFF.
![]() Well, I'm not familiar with your gun so I can't help you, but keep checking back....one of our "experts" should be along sooner or later to help you out. |

What's a 5 year old doing with a shotgun?
The 67's are a nightmare to fully disassemble. If it were mine, I would take it to a qualified gunsmith and beg him to clean, fix, and reassemble it. Good luck on this. Mark |
