Marrage is a union between one man and one woman. It's purpose it to bring forth children and provide a stable home to raise kids.

Like it or not, thats what marrage is. It's not something you do because you love each other and want to spend your life together. Although that may happen. It's not for a tax advantage. Believe me it cost you more to be married than whatever tax advantage you may get. I could go on and offend people but I'm not.

Marrage has become nasty with celebs jumping in and out of it like it's nothing. Same sex marrage, I can't say it.

Can you see a day when marrage can include more than 2 people, same sex or not and even include animals?

That's funny but not quite as funny as a coworker's explanation of what a wedding band does to a female's biological systems. By his way of thinking, the main blood vessel feeding their 'loving' systems flows through their ring finger, and when you crimp that vessel off with a wedding ring, things are never the same again...

was about Marriage or the visual mirage old snipers cope with,

I thought poligamy was a myth untill we moved here to utah. I started studying the poligamists around here the last four years. Thats when warren jeffs was on the run. I read most reports and toured the hotbed. No, I dont belive in their ways for many reasons. This country is on the skids and rome is burning while we party on!

I also think that marriage is literally; one man, one woman. Anything else is not a marriage in my opinion. Having said that, I would like to say that almost anything is possible. One very wise man once said, "There is no new thing under the sun". Including interactions between humans and animals, or same sex partners, who want their way of life recognized as "Marriage"! No matter what color you call it; Black ain't White!

To me having a good marriage is like being an Olympic medalist. It's a great thing if you can achieve it and some do, but in the end you have to realize your limitations. If at first you don't suceed...quit.

Valdmir, dont get me started on that one! How about for openers that they have the rarest and most sevier retardest diease known in the world? Its called furmase disease caused strickly by a limited gene pool. (They are a closed society and all are closely related). Also how many men can really support 3 women and 30 kids? Welfare is big here and breaking the state. Here is just one lead to a huge subject that the outside world is just starting to hear about. It is a closed secret society here. It is not just a matter of liveing and let live. Not when their actions affect the outsides pocket book and when their young women have no say in who they get married to and most cases are foriced into marrage with 40 year older men!

Valdimir, I think I know what you meant. I pretty much am a live and let live type guy myself with gays etc, as long as they just dont affect others. However this group does effect others at least financaly, plus the way their children are brought up with no choices etc.
Untill I moved here I thought poligamists were a myth or at best just a few people claiming to be just to get their sexual kicks. Not so! Yes, sex probley is a big part of it, but they literaly belive to get to heaven they need three wives and as many kids that the wives can produce all their life. They bring their children up in ignorance, choose for them, most are contractors that use their herd of sons as slave labor at a very early age. Then when the boys at 14 or so are thrown out on the road so as to not compete with the older geezers for the young girls. They are known as "the lost boys". They have a shelter for them at ST. George, and other towns I think. Many end up going to Los Vegas and end up as male prostitutes I heard. They are usualy pulled out of school around 6th grade I have read, and are not equipped to survive well on the street at fourteen.
When my mother in law, (wifes stepmother) heard we were moveing here she gave us a heads up. I didnt even know she was raised morman and had left it as a girl. She informed us John Doyle Lee was her great grandfather. Lee was one of the leaders of the mountain meadows massacure in 1857 where some local indians and morman militia whipped out a wagon train of 122 people! He was the only one exicuted for it about 20 years later. The movie "September Dawn" with Jon Voyt is about it. Lee was a poligamist with I think about 14 wifes and 60 kids! That is how I came to make a study of the sect. I have been watching them closely, as I live where the massicure happened, and see poligamists daily. It is interesting!
