Default .223 Ackley Improved?

I've been doing some research on the .223 Ackley Improved and was wondering if you can fire in a regular .223 Remington rifle or a rifle specifically made in a .223 Ackley Improved action? This would be for a bolt action rifle? Thanks!

The rifle would have to be chambered in .223 Ackley Improved.

The Ackley "improved" calibers are standard chambers reamed just a little deeper. If your rifle has been reamed with the Ackley improved cutter you can then fire standard ammo in your gun where it then fireforms to the larger chamber size. You can then load those cases with a little more powder but the cases won't fit a standard chamber. You get a little more velocity along with a little more throat errosion.
