Need Help Identifying Rifle - The Firearms Forum

Recently acquired this old rifle, it has a Mannlicher style stock, has around a 27 in barrel, fold up rear sight up to 24, straight handle bolt action, the magazine is part of the trigger guard, and on the barrel end of the receiver there appears to be a stamp but the middle of it is worn off- starts with an s/sh/sp and ends with a u. Will try to get pictures in the coming days. Any help at all would be great!
