Finished off 600 rounds of 5.56mm for the M16. Now we need a nice cool day to go to the BLM area and pop off a few. Too hot today and no breeze.

I gotta do some five-five-sixers tonight. My FIL has an itchy trigger finger and a hungry Rem 700 Tactical..

Just finished up a hundred 9mm's on my Lee single stage. I'm almost having as much fun making the ammo as shooting it.

Yep I got a basement.. always stays cooler there.. still needs some improvements on the storage and benches add on soon. It can get darn cold during the winter time.
I got the results back from a pal who use 221 fireball. I had set up 50, 50.4 and 50.6 grains of H4198 with 50 gr v-max bullets.. the 50 and 50.4 dead on in center tight group, 50.6 is 1 inch high above dead-eye. the 60 gr was hitting 3 inch low.. this was set at 100 yds. soon will be back at the reload bench once I get my woodpile chop up. |

If you have 50.0 and 50.4 gr charges grouping together, you have accidentally, and quite luckily i might add, hit a low and high node (google OCW load method) with those 2 loads. The ideal load for that rifle/cartridge/bullet/powder combo will be 50.2 gr H4198..
See there, advance reloading skillz and you didnt even know you had them..Nice work Wolf. ![]()

I thought about reloading this afternoon, but just didn't make it out there! Way too hot out there in my reloading building.

I cleaned up my bench and moved my dillon over about 6" so I had some more room on the right hand side.
Tomorrow night is a loading session for 100 308 175gr SMK over 43.0 gr Varget lit off by some Wolf Large Rifle Primers. |

Haven't done much around here lately. Plenty of empty brass of all calibers, but no ambition. Nephew was back on leave this past Wednesday so I loaded up him a box of 300 win mag and that was it.

Thanks, he looks mean and his name is Zeus but his nick name is Wussy and if you look at him wrong he'll squeal and run away. I saved him from a home where he was being used as a bait dog for fighting dogs. I went over there to check out a gun that was posted in a classified on ******** and left with a pitbull mix, and then I called animal control. He's a real sweetheart but does have one mean bark.

I did some trading last week and got about 2 or 3 hundred primed .380 brass with the .380 Russian Makarov I got. I can't wait for my off days (Tue/Wed) this week so I can load a bunch of them.

Nicely done John. You are one of the few that I have heard of loading sig 357. Can you tell us how it would be different from say loading 40's?
