Truth be told, I acquired a new camera and wanted to try it out. I finally (!) got the size about right to post pics! WooHoo, I'm happy about that.
I finally broke down and got a rest for rifle shooting and was able to shoot MOA with this load at 200 yards. Definitely a first for me! |

Long time lurker, first post. I just finished 500 rounds of .45 ACP for my 1911. I use a LnL AP and could have loaded more if I hadn't of ran out of cleaned brass. Now I will have to load the tumbler and wait for another day to load more.

Glad to be here and I don't mind. I use a 230 gn Precision Delta FMJ over 6.0 gns of Winchester WSF with mixed headstamp brass at an OAL of 1.255. The load is mid range and shoots well out of my RIA 5" 1911. |

Just showed my bother-in-law how easy it is to load ammo. The primers were already seated but I showed him how to add and weigh each powder charge and then seat the bullet. Did not take long at all. He thought there was a lot more involved.

I re-load in my basement and I will not even let my kid go in the basement because I worry about this. Granted, my main concern is left over contamination from when I used to load shotgun and cast pistol.

I was getting low on .50A&E's and the Desert Eagle is a hungry beast so whipped out 100 more of them. I am using Speer 300g HP's with 33 grains of H-110. Really shoots the flame out the barrel! I used my old RCBS single stage with LEE dies

Beautiful Mr. Clinger!
Be sure you wear your wrist, elbow and possibly your neck braces when you light off these bad boys. |

I am 2 months from 60 yrs. old and can shoot these one handed! Course I can only do it once or maybe twice. Then I got to take a breather and go back to a really tight handed two grip. Sure wakes up the range though.

I just loaded up a batch of light .41 magnums with 6.0 Red Dot and Berry's plated 210 gr. bullet. I'll shoot them at the indoor range next week. The snow has closed off my outdoor range for the winter.

I'm two weeks shy of 60 and I can't see NOT shooting.
I bought a Lee Factory Crimp Die for 30 Carbine at a gun show yesterday so I loaded up 106 rounds of 30 Cal M1 Carbine rounds this afternoon.

I'm thinking of loading some of the "NO Burn" tracers in 9mm and .45 auto, has anyone loaded and shot some?

Weather has been in the 20's and blowing snow, too nasty for me to venture forth so I been at the reloading bench pulling the handle on that Rockchucker over 2000 times today resizing some 9mm, 40S&W and 45acp. Also wanted to make up some test loads for the Ruger 1911. I tried 25 more of those pesky 200 gr. Berry's that gave me problems before. They are at the max length my barrel will take which is 1.21. JLA sent me some 200gr. Missouri 200gr. LSWC along with the data to try so loaded 25 of those with 4.8gr. Bullseye and another 25 with 4.8gr. Titegroup both at 1.24 OAL. Finally loaded 25 Remington 230gr. fmj as surely I can make them work in that Ruger, ha. My arm is give out so will rest it the rest of the evening. Nothing else to do other than maybe shoot that Red Rider in the basement, ha.

Did some .45C and .38spl black powder 'reduced' loads for my open top conversions....And some full house rounds for the Uberti 73's and 66...Cant wait to see what 40 grains of compressed FFF and a 235g bullet shoots, looks, and smells like...

What a beautiful picture, I loaded the last of the .45 acp I had on hand last night and just ordered more. I have been sorting off some odd .45 acp brass and loading Glue stick bullets also. I received a box of new Starline .44-40 brass today. looks like me and John Wayne will be defending the Alamo and doing some neck sizing tonight.
