Default USING REAL NAMES A PROBLEM....

Perhaps some of you reading recent postings about Jack Apperson have wondered about those inquiries and exchanges...A very long time ago I wrote about a sniper in and around Danang RVN during my tour there in 1969. I had titled that 2 part story THE SPOOK.....In that story I used the real persons name, Jack Apperson. I even used my own S-2 Lt. name, in which his sister contacted me about it and to this day, she and I exchange messages here on the screen. Later, I wrote a couple of other stories, using Appersons real name, with embellisments to the story, trying to make it interesting rather than a documentary....As you can follow, David is attempting to straighten out some matters with a different Jack Apperson, just in case you wanted to know what in the hell was going on. A long time ago I did that same thing with a story about my early days in the Philippines---using the real persons name...that story had been posted in a Seabee Reunion paper and we both had a laugh about it when he contacted me... Remember that old phrase, what's the word----'ANY RESEMBELANCE TO PERSONS, LIVING OR DEAD, IS PURELY COINCIDENTAL'.....Chief
