My father has given me a s&w Model #17 k-22-masterpiece revolver, blue steel, 6 inch barrel that he purchased in 1964. The gun is in exellent condition. 22 caliber. serial #K492870 90 to 95% original condition. Was wondering what value would be.

They seem to trade around $400-$450.

FYI - your gun was made in 1962. If you still have the original wood grips they alone are selling for $50 - $75 on the auction sites.

Steve,
I am a new member and would like to ask a question if it is not to inconvenient. I have a S&W K-22 masterpiece that my dad left me. Could you tell me when it was made and perhaps its value. It is a six inch and in very good shape. The serial number is K 191009. Respectfully Submitted, Dan |
