Default Model 501B Taurus What is it worth?

I have a model (looks like an 80 or old style 84) 38 Special six-shot revolver with a 4 inch barrel.i cannot find model #,501B is on cylinder arm.
It is not blue (could it be nickel or plated ?)There were a few rust spots,
but theycame off with a little Kroil and fine steel wool .Just left a little
discoloration no pitting.I think the rust may have bled off something else.
It has cal.38 on right side of barrel.Serial #491009 on rightside of frame.
Grips are black from dad keepin it wrapped in a rag with 30wt oil.It is tight
and shoots fine.I give the finish 95%.There are adjustment screws for
windage and elevation. What do you think it is worth? Thanks for the help.

$200-$250, +/- ........Provided a buyer can be found.

Taurus's are EZ to buy new, but a bear to sell used - mostly, I presume, because most potential buyers would rather pay a tad more for new or want better quality.
