I just purchased a harrington and richardson 22 lr model 949 serial number ax and 6 digets. Can you tell me the date of manufacture and value. It is what I call mint cond. 100% blueing, mint wood grips and very tight. Seller said it set in night stand for years, maybe shot 200 rounds thru it. I paid $100.00

H&R used the AX letter codes in 1981.

I have a Harrington and Richardson Model 949 with the prefix letters HH - when was this gun manufactured? Any help is appreciated!

The HH letter prefix on your revolver designates 1994 manufacture.
