Iron Butterfly In-A Gadda-Da-Vida. Both versions, the first at 17:10 minutes and the live version at 18:51.

Both are....cool

Beethoven's First Piano Concerto in C Major on Sirius Channel 80 while coming home from a lodge meeting this evening. Sat in the car for a while just to hear it to the end. It was one of the few times they played the Concerto through, all three movements, instead, as usual, of just playing one of the movements alone.

This is my favorite piano concerto even before the Tchaikovsky one, which is another fav. I also love the Haydn Trumpet Concerto along with Beethoven's violin Concerto. All available frequently in the car because of Sirius. My Dad was a virtuoso trumpeter and one of his favorite works to perform was the Haydn Concerto.

Out and about today and this one came on... I had to come in, power up the music station and dust off the ol' drum set... Just couldn't get enough.

This one's good if you're into good old 50's rock music.

Here's another oldie I like a lot - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I0sI6eFarFE

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y7rFYbMhcG8 - there are a couple videos of him doing this concert on youtube too if anybody likes Peter Frampton.
