Default Stevens model 15

Hi. I just got a Stevens model 15 22 single shot and was wondering when it was made as it doesn't have any serial munber only a patent number wich is2173576 also got and Winchester model 67 with the number 4 on the underside of the barrel. Thanks for any info.

Serial numbers were only required for long arms after 1968. Stevens. Steven/Savage has been making the Model 15 and 15A since hand canons were in style. The Winchester 67 was not serial numberd for domestic sales, it was manufactured from 1935 to 1963
