I prefer the 5 shot because the 10 shooter gets in the way.

agree, also i like to use the single shot adapter when bench shooting.

Don't know about the 452 22LR, but spares for my 527s in 22 Hornet and in 7.62x39 were both around 35 bucks each.

I'm guessing your 7.62x39 is the 527 Carbine and 22 Hornet is probably the American. Was I right?

No scope. I realize that, to take advantage of the Hornet, I need glass, but it would ruin the looks of that sweet little gun.
I been thinkin' about scoping the x39, but it takes a special set of rings, which is only available from CZ, for 55 bucks. So it ain't wearin' no glass, neither. But I'm thinkin' 'bout it. Need something small though.
