Off topic, but scroll down and notice the story about the woman that was stabbed to death in her home. She called police the night before it happened and they never showed up! I can't help thinking that she is another victim of gun control

We need a Secretary of the Treasury...you know, to keep track of those little bags of chocolate-filled gold coins! What about ROMT?

Dept. of Energy? How about 358 Winchester? I think he has some connections with the "natural gas" industry...

Don't make me CIA director unless you want some people fired. Only about 10% of your public servants in that agency even speak a second language. In my opinion that is absolutely sub-standard with their occupation in mind.

Dang, I just reread this thread for the first time since the day it was originally posted.
Looking at the latest list I see that yall have me as Sec. Def.
I think it must be a typo, as Delta would make a much better Defense chief than I ever could.

Now as Sec of State I could make Deltas job a little easier. Push button baby!!

Picture me at a piano. Our accents even match.

Where I worked none of use began with any 2nd language. They just tested our aptitudes, gave use deadlines, and Rosetta Stone. I can't fathom any excuse the CIA may have.

Actually, I want to change my previous request. Treasury Secretary could be a powerful post but a much more powerful financial post is Chairman of the Board of Governors of the United States Federal Reserve.... 'Chairman of the Fed' for short. Yep, I'd like Bernanke's job.

Newsweek named Bernanke 4th most powerful person in the world. I'd have to say he's closer to #1. The valuation and distribution of currency which acts as the world's monetary standard earns him a power much higher than even our President. Again, I'll restate the previous quote...

Quote:
Give me the right to issue and control a nation’s money and I care not who governs the country.

-Meyer Amschal Rothschild, International banker

Think about that quote and what it means. When you really consider it, the controller of the money controls the country unequivocally...

Yes, it works.

It's a matter of pride (ego) in some organizations to procure things their own way.In some organizations, if you are enabled with a resource/time and given a specific measurable task and with no-later-than time, it will behove you to meet the standard. Seriously, if you don't demonstrate proficiency, DLI or a contractor is exactly where you'd go.
