Nice to imagine! As far as I am concerned, America's last presidential election is also America's greatest tradgedy and a shameful revelation of the ignorance of our young people.

Thats why our greatest threat is the dept. of education. My son graduates from high school in two weeks. In 12 years of public education, the only exposer he has had to the founding fathers and the Constitution has been me.
I remember his back to school night in middle school, when they informed us that instead of teaching state capitals, they were to teach "Our Hispanic heritage". by order of the DOE. Many of us raised objections, but all the BOE would say is if they didn't they might lose fed funds.
If we are to have a chance to survive, we must educate our children. Not indoctrinate like the feds have been doing for years.

How can a generation stand up to defend the Constitution, when all they have been taught is that it was written by a bunch of "Slave owners" ?

Wait until the young people and others that put this person in office are forced to live with what they have advocated by voting for this Chicago thug/ marxist, socialist radical. Listen to the whining then. And I, for one, will stand and laugh.

My two teenage daughters took a lot of flack for not supporting Obama amongst their peers. For those that just wanted a "black" man to be president, there is none finer than Alan Keyes. Instead, they elected a guy who isn't even really black! This country is soooo messed up right now.

I was wondering today if maybe, just maybe, these silly people, if given everything they want - gun control, socialized medical care, government education, forced population control, high taxes, etc etc etc would finally get their eyes opened up? Problem is, I don't want to have to suffer along with them!

The problem is, Dictatorships last so long is not because the people are defenseless. But because the majority of people are happy to do nothing!
I believe Castro, and Saddam stayed in power because every day a government truck would throw a bag of rice on their door step. Just enough for one day, so the threat was there, that if you did act up there would be no more.

By the sound of it, he isn't planning on leaving this protest until the whole world can see and understand what is going on between the president of notre dame and the president of the united states.

My dad was a huge Keyes supporter until, and I don't know the details, he moved for election. Supposedly he railed on Hillary Clinton for moving to New York, only because she knew she would be elected there. And supposedly Keyes did this later on, I don't know, just what my dad always says. He voted for Keyes several times IIRC.
