Default 24 Lost me this season

This season the Hollyweird types have made me mad. This season they made the terrorists white business men in the Military Complex. The whole plot line was some big Military Contractors conspired to attack the US to show the US's vulnerability and to prove their worth.

In the end, Jack saved the day but as he was about to be put into a morphine coma due to exposure to a lethal dose of biological pathogen, he had a muslim (apparently the rare PEACFUL muslim) cleric called in that he had dealt with earlier.

Give me a break. Big business (white folks) is evil and the "peace loving" muslim says, "We must both forgive ourselves" What a crock of bull. I'll never watch it again.

If I said what I thought all you would see would be ^%#@@!#^%$#$&@*#&@!)*&#*!%@^!%#@@!^%$#(^@!#*&^@!*&#&$!@^%*!@^)*&$_(*@!$#_(_@(#*)(@!^#^%@!^#$!#

We recall the case of the Shoshone war band which showed up complete with one 30-30 rifle per man the week after Pearl Harbor, and simply wanted to have the enemy pointed out to them. "We hear there's a war going on and we want to go fight it." Jeff Cooper

All's I can say 45, is that you must have the digestion system made from a nuclear reaction chamber to be able to stomach one nano-second of Janeane Garofalo.

I have been a 24 fan from the beginning. We have bought every season so far when released for sale on DVDs. This season was to be released for sale yesterday, earlier than usual due to the huge delay in getting it aired.

I can handle the terrorists being white businessmen. I have met my share of businessmen that would sell their mother for a few more bucks.
Or screw the guy that stopped them from illegal activity. (Me.)
The Moslem cleric was a put-off, though, in spite of the fact that I wrorked with a moslem that was a nice enough guy, and I am sure there are others.
The greening of the show bothered me as well; more 'earth friendly' vehicles, etc., that I don't like to see.

If Jack died in the end, I was finished with the series.
But as it ended, we are not sure - - -
Jack is my kind of hero.
He understands there are times that the good of the nation is more important than the civil rights of a scumbag.
He does NOT use waterboarding, however.
It is to gentle and slow for his taste.

Will we buy this season on DVD?
Yes.
If the character Jack Bower ran for president, would I vote for him?
No.
He is the kind of man we need, but BELOW the radar, not in the eyes of the world.

I can eat the double chili dog off of an Industrial Catering Truck @ 9:30 in the morning, does that count??

I didn't pay her much mind. With Cloe on board, the other geeky girls fade into the sunset. And since she is a liberal windbag, what she says doesn't amount to a hill of beans.

I have a hard time with this season's plot due to the changing political climate via Obozo. Now my favorite show makes evil white US Citizens the terrorists.

Actualloy, I enjoyed having Janeane Garofalo on the show.
It was enjoyable seeing her get shot down almost constantly.

I thought I was the only one thinking that. They have to be politically correct, white guys bad, muslims good. I still like 24 but the whole hollywood scene is making the same statement on every show on tv now.

Something about the same guy always saving the world inside the same 24 hours year after year makes this show seem like the dumbest thing on tv to me.

Anyone see the opening shots in 'Tropic Thunder' something like 'He is the only one who can save the world...again, back for the fith time this year' with Ben Stiller.

Hmm.

That DOES seem familiar, doesn't it?

The prize in this movie is Downey -
Fantastic character acting!

That Muslim thing, especially calling the cleric to his death bed, was the only thing that did bother me about this season.
