The new California, GCS (government controlled state) How soon do you think
the democratic congress via socialist Obama will bail out California? He will never allow those 5000 government state union employees, prison guard union employees, unionized teachers to get laid off and bozo social programs to get axed. Expect some loan guarantee or bail out for California soon. And more the pity! The gutless wonders in Sacramento will NEVER cut on their own.

Thats right. If your state exercised fiscal responsibility and your state has no unfunded liabilities, you get to pay for the irresponsible expenditures of irresponsible states. Calif. has the most generous retirement programs in the nation. If you retire in most other states at 60% of base pay at 20-30 years you have done well. A lot of private jobs have little or no retirement and those who do are dropping or modifying their retirement programs. Guess what, now you will get to help fund the retirement of others. Then there are the super generous financial assistance programs that support so many that refuse to work and add to the tax base, stoners (oh yes we have to take a pi** test to work but they don't to mooch) and those who refuse to take advantage of public education (they would rather disrupt class than study or learn). Try complaining to your Congresscritter, see how far you get. After all we must pay off our illustrious Gangster in Chief Obamas supporters. Guess I am a bitter clinger. If I am not now a hater I will be after the Hate Crimes bill passes.

I very much think you are correct, chub. The US taxpayers will bail out the People's Republic of California, and the politicos there will go right on doing what they have for the last quarter century: tax and spend, spend, spend. Obama and his minions in Congress cannot allow the poster child of liberalism to sink under the weight of its own short-sighted stupidity.

Yes, gentlemen, on May 19th, we told the Sacramento clowns (by ballot) that we wanted no more taxes, no more quick fixes and no more bozo fees. They will now try every trick in book to get around the difficult job they have to cut wages, benefits and programs. Two thirds of the voters said by ballot....."cut the spending, cut the programs". Our Sacramento clowns will not! They will now go to Obamaland and beg for a bailout. Coming soon! The stupid state of California will get bailed!!! Just think, the whole country is headed toward California insolvency. Woohoo! Just keep re-electing those democrats, yes sir! Thomas Chubco Bear

It looks like we are seeing the END of the US as I knew it when I was young and as my parents knew it. You would have to be blind or incredibly stupid or grown up in the last 30 years not to realize how incredibly screwed up this country has become. It's way beyond Democrat vs Republican because ther aint a dimes worth of REAL differenence between the 2.Yet I see the same old crap with people thinking that ther's a difference btwn. Repubs.vs DEms. I think its more about the culture of this country and what has been accepted as ok. It's ok now for a girl to get knocked up by whoever and not be married ,in fact it's celebrated by many. It's ok that you get money from the government for doing absolutely nothing. It's ok that you are on welfare. It's ok that you are essentially a slut or slut master.It's ok that you take all kinds of "prescription" drugs to take care of your problems. It's ok that you smoke pot constantly ot snort coke or whatever. It's ok that you have No belief in God. in fact its very uncool to believe in God. It's ok that you collect unemployment when you know damn well you could get another job if you really tried. It's ok that you debase yourself into thinking that the USA from it's inception to now has been an oppressive country. Frankly it is all perverted beyond imagination.

I'm still waiting for my bailout.
Been unemployed for 3 months in the last 30 years.
My kid doesn't qualify for college help, but the immigrants across the street get a free ride.

Lost him on my health insurance cuz he's 19. But the immigrants across the street get a free ride.

While John and Larry can 'home up' w/each other, they get benefits. Old folks in the local home can shack up and get benefits. My son is related by blood so he doesn't qualify.

Talk about DISCRIMINATION!
