Have you noticed how waterboarding was priority number one in the media when it could be blamed on the Bush Administration but has all but disappeared since 'Blinky' Pelosi has been named as an accomplice?

Well, I noticed... This is embarrassing as an American that our news media has protected this ditz so much after the outing of her involvement in the waterboarding scandal. Could it be MORE obvious that these incompetent English and Communications majors are protecting their liberal cheer section?

This is insane!!!!!

Just today, another article was printed that showed John Boehner (R-OH), House Minority Leader, is PO'ed that Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) hasn't faced more questioning on her involvement in the waterboarding controversy that her fellow 'Democraps' helped to come to a boil.

"She's made this outrageous claim," he said, asserting that it has undermined the ability of intelligence officials to keep America safe. Pelosi, he said, "believes that it's just all going to go away. Well, just trust me: It's not going to go away."

Boehner and fellow Republicans have vowed to keep the pressure on Pelosi to explain herself ever since she lobbed the accusation last month, insisting that she needs to either back it up with evidence or apologize.

"It's been three weeks since I asked Speaker Pelosi to back up her allegations that the CIA lied to her or purposely misled her," Boehner said at a news conference. "Allowing this to hang out there is unconscionable, and I just think the silence from Speaker Pelosi is deafening."

For her part, Pelosi has tried to deflect the controversy by focusing her weekly press briefings on other subjects. On Thursday, Pelosi again dodged questions from reporters about the CIA.

"I've said what I'm going to say on that subject," she said when asked if she was still receiving intelligence briefings. Pressed further, she acknowledged that she was still receiving them.

But she didn't respond when asked if anything has changed in the intelligence briefings to convince her that CIA official were being honest.

When Boehner was asked whether Pelosi should continue to receive the briefings, he said, "Well, I don't know. If it were me and I had doubts about our intelligence officials misleading me, why would I want to sit through these?" he said. "And I've got to believe that, if she's continuing to get her intelligence briefings, she must have some confidence that they're telling her the truth."

The double-standard is AMAZING... When I first attended orientation for college, I was introduced to a sobering reality. I was told to look to my left and look to my right. The statement was that one of the people beside me would not graduate.

I"ve noticed it too. ANY time a liberal is cought doing wrong, the "fair and impartial" mainstream media sweeps it under the rug, but if a conservative sneezes too loud, they harp and moan and whine and harp some more as often as they can about it. Just another glaring example of liberal bias and control of the media.

The MSM knows that Blinky is lying. They can't have one of their darlings exposed for what she is, so they shoo it away like it doesn't exist anymore.

The MSM will not revisit this issue until the congresscritters in D.C. manage to make a big enough deal of it that "ethics" charges are brought.

Will that happen? NO! There are not enough congresscritters who are not 100% on board with the current socialist/communist/Marxist/totalitarian agenda.

Our "free press" has all but ceased to exist. The mainstream media has transformed themselves into a propaganda organization on behalf of the Democrats and the government. One of the remaining bits of media that will still tell the truth, talk radio, they are plotting to suppress.

I think you're right. I'm big on writing emails to the networks when something is flagrantly biased. I also stop watching the idiots if I can avoid them. Most Americans won't write emails. Many of us wouldn't know what to say if we did write an email because most are just not that concerned about what's going on. A large number of Americans realize the bias and continue to watch the deceptive trash.

People won't get interested in the issues until it affects if they eat today, sadly enough. We're such a self-serving society that bigger picture issues don't catch most people's interest until it's too late to stop them.

Sheep. They wont care until they lose something that matters to them, but by then it will be too late. Our only hope, and I hate to say this, is that they self-destruct. I do believe it will happen, but how much damage will have been already done.
