I think I scored today
I went this morning to help a family in my church move. They told us we could have the stuff they no longer wanted. I got a Dell W3000 30' LCD TV/monitor
 He told me there was a problem with the power switch so I've been fiddling with it and got it working, so far. I got it working as a TV but it has no sound. Meh, no big deal as I want to use it as a monitor. I watch a lot of movies on my PC and I think it will make that very much more enjoyable I poked around in my system settings and discovered that the version of Linux I'm using already has a driver for the W3000 Problem is I don't have a VGA cable for it I'll get one next week and see how it works. If it works, I'll have a 30' flat panel LCD monitor that will have only cost me the $20 for the VGA cable and a couple three hours of my time spent helping a family that needed some help.On a side note, I found out today that this family is from the same area of Florida where I'm from. I've talked to them a couple times but never knew that. The husband even graduated from the same high school I did, two years before I did and the wife graduated from another local high school down there a year before I did

First thing I thought of is that you got a great deal on a new gun.
I thought I scored when I found regular Small Primers (both kind) at the gun show this morning!!

UPDATE - Well, I got a VGA cable today and hooked up the new monitor. Wow, it's so...big. It's like a freakin' movie screen
