Thought I would post pics of this Ruger 96/22. It is absolutely flawless. The owner said he shot a magizine through it, but it looks unfired. No marks on lever or bolt or anything. I have seen new guns in the gun shop handled more than this. I think it is cool because it has a savage 99 look. it uses a rotary magizine like the 10/22 and is basically a lever action 10/22. This auction was fantastic other than the prices stuff went for. 36 guns all mint in box. I brought most of my money home because stuff went way to high but it was sure a nice sale.

That is a beaut sure enough. It would have been hard to pass up. I agree it is a neat concept with a great profile.

Congrats FW, that rifle is nothing but sweet. You're one lucky cat lover for finding that one!

you get that nice 10-22 carbine feel but with a lever action twist. I like shooting the short carbine levers, even in bigger calibers. they are just fun to plink with.

hey beth, I am ashamed to say i had to pay $400. blue book says $350 and that they discontinued in 2003. but it is basically new and I bought it for me not to sell so to a point price doesn't matter.

What a great deal. I never knew Ruger even made a .22 lever gun.

I have no idea about the price, but that is an awfully sweet little rifle. One thing for sure, the value isn't going down. I woulda' bought it to!
