Opening 20 seconds pans the crowd. People were still arriving nearly two hours after rally began.

They showed this on our liberal new Channel 9 this morning, but stated only a couple of 1000 made it. Of course, I sent them an e-mail asking them to fix the apparent discrepancy in their reporting. The Dems take advantage of such errors and then say - See only a couple of 1000 are against the Health Care bills - many 1000s more are for it, etc. Down playing and misinformation - the media are masters at getting their apparent political views across.

ABC reported 1.2-2 million

Thank you Greg48!! Over 2 million was what was being passed up the crowd from the park service, so I wanted to find a link to the park service to verify against the media... which makes me wonder- why did FOX report 200,000, and where did they get their numbers...? They had better report the top end Monday... I'll be posting a few pics as soon as I figger out my danged camera...

From looking at a lot of pics, don't believe <70K. Don't believe the 2M figure either....

But it was one hell of a lot of people, even with the inevitible 'comings and goings'. And, according to multiple reports, it was a hell of a lot of 'neat' ones too !!! Hardly any trash or debris left behind.

Let's not forget there were a lot of demonstrations across the nation. No matter how you want to 'swing the numbers' its still a lot of ordinary folks taking time to express their views. Thanks to the internet its not a story the MSM - or the administration - can squelch, or even sit on for too long. >MW
