I see it in my job lately that if I change anything that an operator does, even if it's for the better, they hate me. People can't stand to have their routine or their lives changed, even if they're responsible for the change. It's for this reason that I call BS on the (p)resident's claim that the people mandated change in the last election. No sir. People HATE change! People elected you out of guilt...
Good point. But you don't see people from the South moving up north and demanding change. It's just the liberal yankee a**holes that come down here and try to turn this place into the southern version of NY

Its like they have never seen a firearm in the hands (holstered) of a law abiding civilian before. I guess they think that they moved to the wild west or some alternative universe and they don’t like it.

I do talk to some of these folks if I have the time and they have the guts to ask reasonable questions. Usually we have a good conversation and they learn a little bit about that old wrinkled document called the Constitution and our state laws. Every now and then, they are so liberal that no amount of logic can sink in. These are the people that I do tell them to go back to California where they think the police will actually protect them.

Speaking of that, a great way to usually find a liberal is to ask, “Do you think that a police officer’s job is to protect YOU?”

I just hope that these liberal morons don’t vote.
Oh they vote all right.

In the Peoples Republik of Warshington they vote 2 or 3 times. Heck, even dead folks get to vote. They'ed even like to extend the right to convicted felons!

Legally I can open carry here as well. But after 30 years of liberal domination, they decided to add a little caveat to my right. Seems if someone is offended by the sight of my carrying, I am now a criminal.
So much for open carry rights.

Not everyone who lives in a blue state, or a city, is a liberal!

It all comes down to adapting to ones environment. You don't change the weather, you dress for it. You don't change the dark, you turn on the lights. People who grow up in cities (especially ones up here) have developed an expectation that things be done to accomodate their desires.

I think people in the south, Texas, and some western states believe in giving their neighbors space and learn not to be bothered by their activities. Kind of a live and let live mentality. They are generally friendly and hospitable people. But I saw when I was in Texas how those who moved there from other areas were transforming the whole attitude of the region. I was really disappointed when I moved to Houston. It didn't have any of the Texas "feel" to me that I loved. I called it New York City with palm trees.

Those who want to migrate to those areas need to be willing to assimilate or not do it. The refusal to do this by some who migrate naturally causes the native people in a region to be resentful as they watch their way of life be destroyed by outsiders. Much like we feel by watching liberals change the country we love. I say "if you don't like the way we do things here, get the hell out" should be the motto of the south or on a larger scale America.

Get out doesn't work here any more.
They tell me to leave if I don't like it.
My family has been here for generations. What was once a great state has been turned into a cesspool.

How do you convey that to someone who only knows a cesspool?

I like that slogan. I've never heard it put like that but the statement accurately describes the mentality of our nation today.

Amen brother, I'm from "the next state over" from Kieran McCaig, and the powers that be here do NOT speak for the majority- where I live. Now I may be a 'yankee ***hole', but if you don't think the same types that usurp authority with a loud, whiny voice here can't do the same where you live, South, North, West or East, I don't know what to tell you. Liberal's perfect world has no borders, remember. I think it's so corrupt here, it wouldn't matter if every Southerner, gun- toter, and christian in America decided to move here, somehow, the left's voice would still be louder. D*** my state, but I love it...
