Thanks Terry P that "Eye Splice Knot" is what I need to attach my anchor for my boat to the anchor chain.

Saved it. Thanks Terry. Used to be able to tie about 30 knots many years ago. Only use about 7 or 8. Now that I'm retired, think I'll cut a length of line and practice some of these knots in front of the stove this winter. Was trying to remember how to tie a monkeys fist to try to pull down some of those widow makers left over from last winters storms. Cleaned up the downed limbs in the front pasture and yard. Back pasture has many trees and hanging limbs to pull down this winter. Getting too old to chance shinnying up a tree anymore. Last time was after hurricane Andrew when I was 52. Too brittle now to risk a fall. Great animations.

Thank you. I was about to whine that it did not have the Full Windsor knot for ties. But then I looked again and guess what? Yep.....there she was. Great site. I saved it as well.
