i have a old cap and ball pistol that came from germany in ww2...it was taken from a castle on the rhine river that was occupied by a englishman in exisle. no maker marks are visable but the work done is beautifull...it there anyone here that can look at this gun and help figure out who made it and when and whats it worth....i can post pictures as soon as i figure out how thanks hd

Yes, I'm sure someone here can help you. Be sure to note any names, initials and other markings on the pistol, such as small proof marks consisting of crowns, letters, crosses, etc.
