Greetings one and all. I am new to your forum(s).
I am seeking a Thompson Scout breechplug. Either the 50 cal or 54 cal breechplug will do. I'd like to buy/purchase/arm wrestle for one as soon as possible. Feel free to e-mail me. weaver_webb@yahoo.com Thanks, and I appreciate the opportunity to becomming a full member here. Jim

Jim, try the gun parts section of;
www.trackofthewolf.com You might just find one there listed under breech plugs.

Not till now...but I will give that consideration(s). Guess figuring out the threads...and then drillin..and placin a tapped nipple.....just might work.
Actually, I thought of puttin in a regular type breechplug, but a gunsmith/muzzelloadin fella up north, suggested the back pressures...etc.etc might be too high. But, I will look into it. |
