Default Mauser Bayonet ID

My friend has a bayonet, Mauser k98, we believe, that none of the local experts can ID as to who made it. They are interested and all made offers, but ne is not interested in selling it.

It is marked on one side with a MA 8 29 with no other markings.

Can anyone help ??

Default Re: Mauser Bayonet ID

Your bayonet appears to be for the Spanish contract of 1943 (?). It is different from German issue by being much thinner in the blade...
