Question Hopkins and Allen Shotgun

Howdy - can anyone guess at the date of manufacture of my Hopkins and Allen shotgun. I just inherited it from my mother. It's a 12 gauge side-by-side without ejectors or external hammers. Like most side-by-sides, it has a sighting ramp, but this one has a very small brass bead. It has a hard rubber buttplate and pistol-grip cap in a sunburst pattern. The buttplate says Hopkins and Allen. The finish is bare metal and rust now, but it does not appear to have been originally blued. The only stamping I can find is Hopkins and Allen Arms Corporation, Norwich, Conn USA, on the left receiver. No numbers.

Much obliged - Loose Latigo Jack
