Does anyone know if a parkerized finish can be removed and replaced with the typical blueing? If so, how? or where? please.

Yes, parkerizing can be removed mechanically using either abrasive,(sand paper) or beadblasting, it can also be removed with an acidic solution. Once the parkerizing is removed the underlying steel can be stoned and polished to a given finish or it can be beadblasted and blued.
If you believe it is reprehensible to possess the will and means to repel a criminal assault...how can you rightfully ask another to risk his life to protect yours?

OneRoundShort.....if the gun you're "un-parkerizing" has any collector value, you'll ruin it by taking off original finish.

Ballistic, parkerizing is another type of coating put onto firearms. It's a dull grey or black finish, unlike the shiny bluing. Lots of military firearms have this finish, to reduce glare on the battlefield that would give away a hiding soldier.

It tends to be thicker and rougher than bluing, but doesn't always wear like bluing. If applied poorly, it can chip off or flake off.

Guns that went through arsenal rebuild programs were parkerized whether or not the original finish was blue. If it has arsenal rebuild marks the serial number would reveal what the original finish was. It could have been parkerized originally, although there were different types of this finish.

parkerizing is a treatment / coating for metal. It is really called Nickel maganese phosphate. It is a chemical process that adds the above chemicals to the metals surface. It makes the metal a gray green blackish color. It has slightly better corroision resistance than Hot bluing (Black Oxide)
