I have not been on this site in quite some time ....but when I need info this is the best place to go so.........
Today at my local gun shot I picked up a H&R 999 Sportsman 6 inch And I would like to know the year of manufacture . I have searched alot of forums, looking for a list of codes/dates And have only been able to find where someone was kind enough to give a date to the new owner... But where is this info listed ??? Can I buy a book or just print something off ? My new to me find is marked with AT076XXX Please HELP HANK

Hank,
AT prefix = 1979 manufacture of your Sportsman. The Blue Book of gun Values has the serial # listing from 1940 through 1986. |
