Question Charles Daley 1911

What's the rod on these 1911's? Are they as good as my RIA? I'm looking for an officer's model and found one, but I don't know how good it is.

Thanks.

If you like the RIA you will like the CD. Well built 1911's. The early models had a few problems, mostly mag related but the problems were overcome in time. Quality control improved and the CD 1911 was an accurate, reliable pistol. I have owned a couple of them and never had any problems.

Thanks for the info Shooter. That lines up with what I read last night.
Now if that check will come in before the gun is sold!

I hope the check comes in really fast. Then send the CD to me for proper breakin ( also send lots of ammo). I'll return it when the ammo runs out.

Just remember to replace the recoil spring more often than normal and use good ( Wilson ) mags and you shouldn't have any issues.
