It always sounds like it takes forever to get a pistol back when you send it in. I had a friend at work who has a 3 1/2 Colt 1911, he sent it in and it took him forever to get it back. Had an extractor problem. But now it works flawlessly. But I understand. Sometimes they just need adjustment and such.

Glad you got your new 1911. It even seems like it's been forever to me....

Where are the pictures Kieran? Are you sure you got a new Para? Seems awfully fishy that there are no pictures. Are you certain you got a new 1911?

Nice looking gun. Don't look like the sights need adjusted to me. You're hitting paper. Shoot it a few more times and that group will tighten right up. Did the Para function good for you?

You sure its the sights I always shoot right on a new gun I think a matter of two things for me. Anticipation of the gun and trying to see if i hit where aiming. Once I'm ok with the gun I do ok.

I assume you have to stop talking when you aim?? It must be hard for Canadians to shoot straight with those bobble heads like they show on south park?

Nice gun. For a Canadian to have such a pretty gun is kind of amazing. I don't know much about you laws but my Canadian relatives say it's a royal pain to get anything good.

Dang son! Nice gun! That's a heck of a target! What was the range? A hundred yards? Two hundred?

I'm with everyone else, NICE !! I'm rather fond of black on black, kinda like my favorite bike, the Harley NightTrain, no chrome, no shine, just bad A...
I will side with JUNK, get a couple hundred rounds and try some different ammo. Get comfortable with the gun until you get some consistent groups and then make adjustments. Get it broke in and she'll be a fine gun. Just my opinion, but whenever I'm sighting in a new gun, I give it some time before I start making too many changes because until I get used to it, my body and eyes will be making enough already. Either way though, you'll get tight groups soon enough. Thanks for the post, always nice to see the new ones!
