Unhappy Iver Johnson Cylinder

I have an IJ target sealed 8 serial # M54880 that was my fathers and there is not a cylinder for it. Does anyone know where I could get a cylinder for this gun? By the size of the barrel I would guess it is a .22 cal and by the model, Target Sealed 8, I am assuming it is an 8 shot revolver. The gun has a 6 inch barrel. My mother said she took the cylinder out of it when us kids were little for fear of one of us getting ahold of the gun and she does not remember where she put it. Thinks she might have thrown it away after my dad passed away.

Default Re: Iver Johnson Cylinder

d0500jg,
I like the Iver Johnson and H&R revolvers to work on. I believe I may have a cylinder for you in the not too distant future. When I get my parts in, I will be able to tell you if I have the correct one, because I have the same revolver with an "L" prefix in the serial #, and I can match what I get to mine.
With the holidays and the weather back East, it may be awhile before I receive it. If you haven't had any luck until then, I should be able to help you.
