Ruger 10/22 I've had mine 33 years and it's still rock solid dependable and if I ever choose to modify it parts are very plentiful!

Of all I have encountered and used or evaluated, the CZ Ultra Lux Super Exclusive is the best even though it has a 28.8 inch barrel. This gives it sight radius for superior accuracy with iron receiver sights and full velocity with today's best hyper velocity ammunition. It comes with a ten shot magazine that loads easily and feeds unfailingly. The barrel and action are of excellent workmanship; the trigger is excellent. Its open tangent sights have proven very good to 300 meters, double that in my hands for a Mendoza receiver sight. It has excellent proportion and pointability with sling swivels. It weighs only seven pounds despite the barrel length. It is far superior in accuracy on targets or in hunting to any other rifle of its weight. This is the one.

Anschutz 1411. Very accurate rifle. The target was 10 rounds at 50 yards.

I have a Marlin/Glenfield 60 that is very accurate and I have owned 2 Ruger 10/22's and 3 MK II Rugers; but if I was told I could only have one .22 I might be inclined to go with the new Colt/Walther M4 .22. I checked out one at Academy and thought it was awesome. It seems a little pricey but if it is good as the price is high, then that is what I would want.

JUST FOR THE SIMPLE FACT THAT U CAN BUY THE BASE RIFLE THEN SET IT UP HOWEVER YOU WANT IT(TARGET, ASSULT, PLINKER, SUPPRESSED PLINKER, INTREGALLY SUPPRESSED PLINKER) THE AFTER MAKET WORD FOR THEM IS VAST WHICH LEAVES ALOT OF OPTIONS .... This is an easy one. If I could only have one .22 it would definately be the SIG SG522. I have had 10-22s, Marlin Model 60s, Marlin bolt actions and currently own the GSG-5, Colt/Walther M4 .22 and the SIG. Hands down, the SIG is by far the best hadling well built .22 rifle I have ever owned. Incredibly accurate too.

I'd go with my Calico M-100S
![]() Although my Marlin 99-G (daddy of the Model 60) would be a close second.

My Marlin Model 39, which I had from 1941 until 1992 when it was stolen during a break-in while we were on vacation. Replaced it with another Marlin 39A, which shoots as well as any bolt action I've ever shot. I am left handed and a lever is the only action that I like.....
I have other .22s but none can live up to the 39 !!!!!!

It would be a toss-up to me. Either my 10/22 or my Win 9422. I would most likely go with the Win tho, but nothing against the Ruger.

If we are talking rifles it would be my Remington 552 as that's the only one I have. If we are talking handguns the it would be my S&W pre Model 22.

Ah, these "only one" questions. I can't handle those.
Rifle : My Winchester 94/22 or Marlin 60. Handgun : Have to go with 6" Diamondback. |
