Ithaca model 66 20 ga shotgun with broke hammer spur!!
Hi
Hoping some one can tell me how to replace the hammer on this shotgun.I have the hammer,hammer spring,and the hammer pin.What I don't have is the confidence that I know what will happen if I knock out what looks to be the single pin holding the hammer in.The drawing I have from gun parts catalog twentieth edition almost makes it look like you have to remove the stock to get to the hammer spring.Any help will be greatly appreciated. |
