Deputies were called to a home in the 9200 block of Apache Trial after receiving a tip that Tanya Nareau, 33, exchanged her daughter for a gun.

Deputies say a family friend who had the child confirmed that Nareau asked for a gun in exchanged for the girl. asked for the gun in exchanged??

Nareau allegedly told the man that he would do a better job raising the child than she would -- and that she couldn't buy a gun because she was prohibited by law to buy one. I believe that should be "prohibited by law from buying one

Nareau was booked into the 4th Ave Jail on charges of unlawful sale of a child and solicitation to commit possession of a weapon by prohibited possessor. if there were some quotation marks in there - solicitation to commit "possession of a weapon by prohibited possessor" - that sentence would be a couple of thousand percent better.

Authorities say Nareau has been booked into the county jail in downtown Phoenix. She's been charged with the unlawful sale of a child and solicitation to possess a weapon by a prohibited person.

When is the sale of a child legal? Just wondering.

For sale: 2 year old female with blond hair. Answers to the name susan. Likes long walks outside and ceral with milk. Likes cartoons and getting her diaper changed. A bit fussy when it's time to go to bed cause she is ascared of the dark.

Must sell now! Reduced rock bottom price of 125.00 or tell you what, how about a stubb nosed .38? Don't let this deal pass you by.

I bet her life will be a joy when she is old enough to learn her mama tried to sell her. Kid neeeds prayers

edit; this is another issue the court has no business getting involved in. Someone in this womans family need to step up and beat the chit out of the woman, cause she did not get enough beatings when she was a child. There goes the vigilante in me again.

Well you knew right away she wasn't in the running for citizen of the year when she couldn't buy a gun, read felony conviction.
