Question Puma Wildcat PPS-22

Any of you 22 LR fans own a Puma Wildcat PPS-22. Just wondered what you thought of it. I have one and it is a fun plinker and reasonably accurate. I get about 2 jams per 30 shot magazine. I also have the Black Dog 50 round Drum for it and it also works well except for the 2 jams per magazine. My biggest complaint is...... It is a Bi#$^ to clean. No easy way to disassemble and you have to block the bolt open. If anyone has some hints to remedy these problems let me know. Thanks.

Fred

Looks like my Pietta PPS-50. As for cleaning, it is what it is..... it might jam less if you polish the feed ramp on the barrel & clean the magazines real good.

Welcome to the forum!

It is made by Pietta and marketed as a PUMA by Legacy Firearms. Good idea RE: polishing feed ramp.

I don't see any feed ramp on the barrel. It looks like the magazine lips act as the feed ramp.

The bottom of the mouth in the barrel on my Italian PPS has a bevel (a feed ramp) that is about 1/4" long @ a 45 deg. angle.
