THE TWO SLOTS THAT ARE LEFT ARE FOR HUNTERS WHO CAN CLIMB ONLY

The recent black bear hunt with Mike Roy and Bear Paw Outfitters was such a tremendous success that a lot of people are already asking about next year. It will take place June 2nd -June 6th (Monday - Friday), 2003. Included in the price of the hunt is meals and lodging from the evening of June 1st, 2003 through the morning of June 7th, 2003. Hunters must be out of the lodge by noon on Saturday June 7th so the next group of hunters can come in. Licenses and tags are included in the hunt price.

The hunt is near Bathurst, New Brunswick, Canada. Air Canada flies into Bathurst, NB with turbo props. If you can climb into a ladder-platform stand you can hunt with a bow if you so desire (crossbows and handguns are not legal). Scoped rifles and shotguns can also be used. Five of the six on our group hunt took bears this spring:

Scott Cool 310 pounds

George Bolender 302 pounds

Robert Mullany 220 pounds

Monty Carpenter 200 pounds

Stan Stewart 120 pounds

A $300 deposit will be due to Bear Paw Outfitters ASAP if you are confirmed for the hunt.

Right now we only have 2 openings for people who are ambulatory and can climb into a ladder stand.
