Anyone still shoot their Remington 51 .380? Is this a durable, reliable pistol?

I have one in near 100% condition that I have fired, but I primarily consider it a collectors item. Maybe if I ever find one in lesser shape, I would fire it more.

My father has a model 51 but it appears to be missing the magazine lock. I'm having a heck of a time finding any available parts. Anyone have any suggestions?

I have a model 51 in .380 and it is an accurate and reliable pistol. It's flat and fits the hand like I was born with it. Point shooting is instinctive. I'd fight with it. Please don't make me take it apart again. It's a bad puzzle. Very well made and innovative, it was obviously costly to produce.
