Default Haiti: Another cash-cow for the American Red Cross

The red cross has received $255 million dollars in donations for help in Haiti.

The Red Cross has spent or committed to spend only $80 million dollars of that.

Would anyone care to speculate about the remaining $175 million dollars?
If they don't need it for Haiti, do you think they will return it to the donors?

Sure, they will - when

Terry, I couldn't agree more.
My eyes have been opened due to your arguements.

Why are there so many 'support' groups that benefit from the support?
Tax exempt organizations that get fat on tax exemptions.
There should be a law against that!

People that steal from those in need should be crucified!

Maybe they will give 100 Million back to the govt to help pay down the debt?
But that still leaves 75 million left in there coffers.

The Red Cross at it's finest huh?

I stopped giving charity, out of my immediate area 20 years ago. I believe in charity, I really do. But my neighbors and area come first. Giving money to big organizations just pays their employees.
