Hey everyone, I'm new here. I'm still in highschool but have been into firearms for many years now. I just thought it would be good to join someplace to help me learn some more about them, and so far, this place seemed the best to do that.

Welcome to TFF bmpeele.
In retrospect, I would have liked to have had something like TFF when I was in High School. I had the Rifleman and an occasional gun mag. when I had the cash although cash usually went for ammo. Someone gave me an old Shooters Bible and I bought a Gun Digest every year. Some of the Old guys would talk about guns back then an now I am one and get to do the same on TFF. Check out the other forums here. There is some realy great stuff here and no one I've seen gives you young folks any guff. Most are polite, knowledgeable and respectful. I have learned more about firearms on TFF than I learned in the first 20 years of my life. There is a goldmine of data, malarkey and tall tales here. All you have to do is read and explore. The archives are extensive. Have fun.

Welcome bm, I think you will enjoy the people here, i know I have. They treat very basic questions just the same as very technical ones and I have learned a lot. Enjoy the gun hobby.
