Default Firearms Freight

I don`t know if this will ever effect freight in the USA, but it is closing down firearms aquisition in my part of the world. As from Dec 2009,no freight co or postal service, will carry any firearms or parts thereof from any part of the world to the British Channel Islands. We are British, but not part of the UK,or the E.U. We have no vote in the UK Parliment, and also have no UK type political parties in our system of Govt. The UK have never been pleased that we do not follow their firearms laws, but they couldn`t do much about it.The above seems to be a back door way of forcing control. Not knowing how the freight regulations are in the USA,I am wondering if your anti gun types will try something similar to this on you.

If you're not part of the UK, who is imposing these regulations?

This is what we are trying to find out,Our Police & Customs & Excise Deptments didn`t know about it,the freight companys state they just feel its the right thing to do.They all claim they decided on it toward the end of 2009 due to big hints being dropped by a 3rd party ( Unknown ) ???

Sounds more like an embargo.
You folks pee in someones breakfast cereal?
Planning on taking on the world in a military confrontation?

What's your crime level? Weapons a broblem?
Are you enriching plutonium of weapons grade that the rest of us need to know about?

Sounds mighty unfair to me.

There has been two murders with firearms since end of ww2 ,one in 1952 when a spastic lad was jealous because of his brother had a beautiful girlfriend,His brother had an occupation Mauser Hsc which he got hold of and killed him.The other was in 2007 when a wife wanted to end her unhappy marriage,( there was no-one else involved ) her husband couldnt accept it so he killed her then himself. When you consider that the German forces left all their weapons behind at the end of ww2 its a very good record for people to adhere too.The only crimes we seem to get are mainly drink related on Fri & Sat nights.with an occassional break in etc.All firearms are registered by the Police, but you can have as many as you like providing they are safely locked up when not in use.We do not sell firearms out of the Island so no-one can say we are running a good line in used exports. Its all Big Brother, who will be coming to a place near you at some future time.
