A buddy of mine has a Hastings Paradox Slug Barrel for sale and i told him i would be interested. When I installed the barrel on my gun it has a little play when it is "twisted" after locking it down, the play is very miniscule but it still of my concern. There is no play up and down. The orginal barrel has no play what-so-ever. So that leads me to a few questions i need from the experts...you in particular.
Is this common in aftermarket barrel? Is this just not intended for my Wingmaster? Is there any danger? Will this effect accuracy? Thanks for your knowledge in advance. SWirsty

I can see it affecting accuracy, and since its a slug barrel Id be hesitant to buy it since youre likely to be shooting at distance... Probably will be safe to shoot, but since its going to shoot all over the place why bother??? The sloppy fit may be due to the barrel being manufactered to a set of universal tolerances and your reciever is just a tad on the high side of those tolerances, Id start by contacting the manufacterer and getting their suggestions on the matter...
