Default Wild Turkeys

I live south of Weatherford Texas. I have been feeding a flock of wild Turkeys all winter out in front of my home. I feed them cracked corn, 50 lbs a week. Can anyone tell me if this is the best feed for them or not? I have a lot of wild life around my home, deer and turkey mostly. I do not shoot the wild life around my home. When I was younger I always had a hunting lease and really did enjoy the taste of wild game. Now I just like to photograph them. I guess I'm getting soft in my old age.

Corn will probably be good enough. If not they will still scratch and fnd what they need.

Post some of your pics

Cracked corn works well for turkeys, and deer, and squirrels, and possums, and crows, and rats, and birds, and ..... Well, I think ya get the idea!

Well, being from Denison, I think you should have me down there so I could "acquire' one and we could do a taste test.

It's the only way to be sure!

Love wild turkey. Best wild game I've had yet was smoked wild turkey.
