9mm Rock Island 1911
I ordered a Rock Island 9mm 1911 from Centerfire Systems last Saturday and picked it up yesterday on my way to work. I have not fired it yet. I will be going to the range on Wednesday and will post the range report that evening. I can tell you that there is no obvious difference in the .45 and the 9mm. The 9mm weighs exactly 1 ounce less but that could be due to the wrap-around rubber grips on the .45 being heavier.
